3rd February, Wednesday, exactly 2 weeks after my checkup at NUH, I went to Bedok Polyclinic to check for my high blood pressure. This is the second time that my blood pressure is high. I think each time when I'm pregnant and after I give birth, I sure bound to have high blood pressure. I don't know why lah I have high blood pressure. I'm given 6 weeks to control my blood pressure. The doctors said it's normal to have high blood pressure after giving birth and usually it will take 6 weeks to control it down.
Mas accompanied me to Bedok Polyclinic and I didn't bring Baby Lutfana along, my Mother-In-Law helped to look after her. If I knew, I wouldn't have asked Mas to accompany me. She's been helping me too much lately and I am thankful for that. We went in the afternoon and luckily it wasn't packed with many people. I got to the see the doctor and I was pretty nervous to know what will the reading be. The doctor told me that now my blood pressure is stablised and it's 120/70, which is the normal blood pressure rate. Syukur alhamdulillah. I thought my blood pressure wouldn't go down because my heart was beating quite fast, faster than usual and I've been thinking alot. That checkup alone didn't take up 30 minutes.
We went to Sheng Shiong after that as I needed to buy their milk. Have I mentioned that now Baby Lutfana and Baby Luthfi are drinking goat's milk instead of the cow's milk? So yes, they are drinking goat's milk as of now and it's pretty costly. Baby Luthfi's goat's milk 1 tin itself costs $48 and Baby Lutfana's 1 tin which is small is #25. So can you imagine how much I will spend on their goat's milk a month? Baby Luthfi will have 2 tins and Baby Lutfana will have 4 tins, you do your calculations. I will spend almost $300 for just their milk! I can faint you know like this. If the normal milk formula, I will spend only $150 and that's half of it! The other $150, I can buy their other necessary things like pampers, wet tissues and what's not. I pity SmallBoy because he's working alone but since he insisted then we shall try it for a month. If it's too much, then we shall just stick to the normal milk formula. Just because of our children's milk, we can get into a huge quarrel. Bahh.
Then we had our lunch at Macdonalds and since I can't drink cold drink, I ordered for myself a hot cup of Hot Chocalate and I must it's delicious. After which, we cab-ed back home. Once we reach home, Baby Lutfana just had her milk and it was time to take her afternoon bath. Mas was busy entertaining Baby Luthfi while I wiped Baby Lutfana. Baby Luthfi was showing Mas his new toy and he put the mic into his mouth and kept saying 'Ahhhhh'.
I had to do some chores and Mas helped me to look after Baby Luthfi for awhile. When I was done, I was searching for Baby Luthfi's pacifier but couldn't find it anywhere. I looked out at the window and found his pacifier at the latch area. I thought of retrieving it back but there wasn't any long stick or anything to take it back. Final thought was to let the pacifier be there and just buy a new one but Mas insisted on getting his pacifier back for me. Being so sweet, she did something extraordinary and retrieved it back for me. That was one hell of an experience for both of us and something to remember of. Heh.
5th February, Friday, it was Baby Luthfi's checkup at NUH. Baby Luthfi had his checkup and he's growing perfectly fine and well for a month premature baby. Baby Luthfi is growing slightly above average. His current weight now is 10.5kg, his height is 82cm and head circumference is 47cm. When everything was done, we went to ICA to do Baby Lutfana's birth certificate. Why that late? Because SmallBoy had no time to go and usually his off days are on weekends. Finally everything is settled and done with. Nothing more to worry except for my last checkup with NUH, hopefully and Baby Lutfana's Hep B 2nd dose injection.
SmallBoy and I had a major quarrel on the way to ICA and back home. It lasted quite long and I don't wish to elaborate on it. Things haven't been going quite good between the both of us. And I don't know what else to do or say. I am just going with the flow, I hope and I pray for the better. I don't blog about my problems with SmallBoy, it's just so wrong for me to do that and it's not encouraged by our religion to talk about our marriage problems to people. Yes, to share but I only share and voice it out to my mom who will always gives me plenty of advices. Never once she hasut or anything but useful advices for me to ponder on. She knows her daughter best and I can be pretty stubborn at times.
7th February, Sunday, SmallBoy had his off day and it was stay home day for my family except for SmallBoy as he needs to do some errands here and there. As early as 7am, Baby Lutfana had already taken her bath and Baby Luthfi was already awake. Oh now, Baby Luthfi wakes up early. The latest he will wake up is at 8.30am and the earliest is 7am. Once he's awake, Baby Luthfi took his bathe and was all ready for his breakfast. After we had our breakfast together, Baby Lutfana woke up and it was time to feed her. As I was feeding Baby Lutfana, Baby Luthfi was busy playing with himself. He kept looking at the mirror and laughing to himself. See how vain is he. He likes to look at the mirror, to look at himself.
MasAjehh came in the afternoon and it was nice to have them around. Thank you for coming the both of you. You guys never get tired eh, to come here and just to see Baby Luthfi and Baby Lutfana. Baby Lutfana is Ajehh's rama-rama and Baby Luthfi is Mas's scandal. How cute can this couple be.
Below are some pictures of Baby Luthfi and Baby Luthfana. I thank Edah for taking Baby Luthfi's pictures which are so cute and lovely. Both of my kids are doing fine, alhamdulillah and I'm still adjusting to things, to handle and look after the two of them alone. Still getting the hang of it and so far it's fine. I'm praying and hoping that Baby Lutfana's left eye will get better. It's getting better but still her left eye is smaller than her right eye. She had an eye infection and her left eye was producing this yellow discharge. Each time she wakes up, it's there. Baby Luthfi's 5th tooth is growing and it's growing on his lower gum. Now he will have 5 teeth and I want to see the upper part. But each time I want to see if there's any teeth growing, he will simply shut his mouth. He won't let me see. I don't know if I've shed any weight yet because I find and feel that I look the same. There's no weighing machine here and I don't know what's my weight.
I will go and check it when I go to my mom's place on the 16th. I will be sleeping over there on the 16th night and will be going back home on the 17th night. I have my appointment with NUH on the 17th and it will be nearer to go from there. Mom specially took the day off just to send me to NUH since there was nobody accompanying me there and plus she misses her two grandchildren already. My family misses them too and can't wait to see them both especially Baby Luthfi. They miss his presence because each time he's there, he will make so much noise and will keep the house noisy. Now without him around, it's so quiet. I know my brother misses Baby Luthfi alot. He always take care of Baby Luthfi each time I do the house chores and will always call out for Baby Luthfi when he comes home. I too miss my family.

Disturbing his Auntie Meemah's laptop.

Look at how long his eyelashes are.

Cheeky.

When he geram with something.
Right now, I am waiting for SmallBoy to come home from work. This week, he'll be on the afternoon shift and he will come back home only at night and by the time he comes home which is at 12am or earliest 11pm, Baby Luthfi and Baby Lutfana are already sleeping. And when Baby Lutfana wakes up, SmallBoy is already sleeping. Now, both are asleep and I am awake to update my blog and at the same time waiting for Baby Lutfana to wake up for her milk and then it's my rest time which is time to sleep!
I think I did missed out names of who that came to see Baby Lutfana and I. Thank you again to Nana Daniel, Dayah, Inaa and Yat. It was nice to see you Inaa and that was our first time seeing each other. Anyway, instead of Luthfana, her name now is Lutfana without the H. My parents said it's not suitable for a babygirl to have the name Luth since it's the name of a boy and since it's also Nabi Luth's name. And also Luthfana has no meaning thus the name Lutfana.
I have to log off now. I have to rest.
